Introduction
The Un-married and Separated Parents of Ireland is a voluntary organisation, which was created to assist un-married and separated parents through their separation and help them gain a knowledge of their rights.
The concerns we identified was that not only fathers but also mothers and children suffered under an unjust family law system, on a daily basis. We are a support mechanism for these parents and their children, who are the innocent victims of the separation.
The volunteers involved not only provide an experienced service but also fund both weekly meetings and phone support.
Our volunteers provide a daily service, which includes dealing with potential suicides, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, depressants etc. Which in many cases, have all been brought on by family breakdown, which is for all intents and purposes a hidden killer.
We provide an invaluable service for those in need and in dire circumstances.
Many of the men and women attending our meetings have spoken of how we have saved their lives. We didn't save them, they made that most importent first phone call and due to our volunteers experience we are able to assist them through their difficulties. They gained the knowledge,Strength and Determination to carry on when the Family Law Courts System has left them deflated.
